            Violet Mandic, classical soprano, has been a part of many choirs, musical theater productions, and plays throughout the years. Violet began studying voice with Christa Warda who is a voice professor at Muhlenberg College after she graduated from high school. Violet began studying classical piano with Rhonda Stahl at the Tri- County Music Conservatory. Violet then continued her music studies at Bucks County Community College, where she earned her Associates of the Arts Degree in Music. She graduated there with an honors in Summa cum laude. She studied voice with Rochelle Reed, and piano with Edward Ferdinand. She was a part of the Bucks County Community College Concert Choir, and Percussion Ensemble. She then transferred to Moravian College, and graduated there with a Bachelors of Music in Voice Performance Degree. She graduated there with an honors in Summa cum laude. She studied voice, classical and jazz piano, as well as guitar at Moravian College. She has studied voice with Suzanne Kompass, and Tanya O’ Brien. She studied classical piano with Dr. Thompson, and jazz piano with Dan DeChellis. She studied music therapy based guitar techniques with John Arnold. She was a part of the Moravian College Concert Choir, Women’s Chorus, Song and Stagecraft Ensemble, and Salon Ensemble. At Bucks County Community College, Violet became a part of the International Dean’s List Honor Society. At Moravian College, she became a part of the Delta Omicron Music Honor’s Fraternity. She was awarded the Charlotte E. Newcombie scholarship her first year at Moravian College. Violet also won the Louise Moore Pine Music Scholarship during her senior year. She did a church musician internship at the Friedens United Church of Christ in the Spring of 2018. Violet began her teaching career at Miss Cindy's School of Dance. Then, Violet became a full-time music teacher for the Stages Academy in Buckingham, PA, and she taught private voice and piano lessons there during their afterschool hours as well as group piano instruction classes. She taught Pre-K3 through 8th grade general music classes at Saint Aloysius Parish School. She was the Music and Choir Director for the school masses at Saint Aloysius Parish School. She taught private voice and piano lessons at The Conservatory of Music and Dance for quite a few years. Violet taught general music classes to 4th through 8th grade at the Presentation BVM School and she teaches 3rd through 8th grade at Our Lady of Perpetual Help School. She was a Christian- Contemporary Worship Leader at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Pottstown, PA. She currently works as a full- time general music teacher for St. Barnabas Catholic School. Violet has taught students who have received entrance into the Lehigh Valley Performing Charter Arts School and who have competed in the Performing Arts Alliance Voice Competition. Violet is currently working on earning her certification in music education at Eastern University.
